Here I am Again

Greetings, here I am again, don't know yet if anyone has posted any comments, but I understand that it takes a couple of weeks before I'll receive a printout, so I guess I'll just rank.

Read recently that scientists have bioengineered a species of salmon to grow twice as fast and that they have determined that this engineered salmon won't endanger the ocean's wild salmon.

I wonder if they have considered that as they grow twice as fast as normal these salmon will be eating twice as much as normal to sustain their growth, what consequences will this have on the breeding population of the species the salmon eat? Will these salmon be breeding twice as fast? Well, I hope they haven't released these bioengineered salmon into the oceans yet, the oceans and other large bodies of water throughout the world have been assaulted enough with over-fishing and pollution.

Which brings me to a related subject of December 21, 2012 having come and gone with those who believed that the abrupt end of the Mayan calendar foretold the end of civilisation in a cataclysmic event, well that didn't happen. As for myself, I'm of the opinion that it has a two fold purpose marking the point of no return as far as protection of the environment is concerned and a spiritual awakening that the Mayan themselves speak of. This is not a spiritual awakening of peace and harmony on earth, a growth of faith in a higher power, but an awakening of our spiritual relationship with nature and need to prepare ourselves to be dependent upon nature. Anyone with any sense can perceive that humanity is overwhelming the environment's (Mother Earth's) ability to sustain life; are you prepared for that eventuality?

Anyone seen the movie Soylent Green with Chalton Heston; read the ingredients of the garbage sold in the grocery stores and ask yourself what the ingredients will be when the population of the earth is 10 Billion, if you are young enough that is in your lifetime and most assuredly the future for your children. Unless they have space for a greenhouse and a garden.

I suppose the future could be bright, but everyone would have to awaken spiritually and soon while those of us with common sense do what we can to slow down the process and pray that the slow learners come into awareness.

Had to spend money for postage more than I expected $5.51 to mail an article and supporting documents out, 80 pages and the article is only two pages long. Was going to send it to Canada, along with a painting, but decided to send it to someone else and next week when I get my inmate pay I'll be able to send the painting to the same person who hopefully can scan or photograph and send to a website that supports Alvaro and his struggle for freedom.

Am almost out of my mix of birdfood, got enoug for 2 maybe 3 more servings for the birds, they need it during this really cold weather, so I hope you all took some time to feed the birds, if you don't have a feeder or bird seed put something on your window sill, doorstep or Frisbee a piece of wheat bread into some yard or park, it's a good thing to be thankful and to give back to nature to help the cycle of life along here on earth. I usually put the food out at night so the little birds get some before the bully birds arrive, I think they are grackles chunky looking birds with a marbeling type feather colouring I've seen them beat up on the little birds so I put it out at night and they get it early in the morning.

My mix is corn flakes, bran flakes, oatmeal and ramen noodles I guess it's a well rounded grain diet for a bird.

Am experiencing some writers' block here so I guess that is my queue to bring this blog to an end hoping that something I wrote was of interest to someone out there in the world. Take care and be happy.

Blessings,
In the Spirit of Rsistance
